Wellspring Practitioners are mostly out of network with most insurance carriers and accepts out of network benefits. Many insurance carriers offer out of network benefits or reimbursement, which vary based on your policy. We will work with you to help you obtain reimbursement wherever possible.

It is often helpful to call your insurance company and ask them what your out of network coverage is. Some helpful information for your call with insurance can be found below:

If you are seeing a provider who is a psychiatrist (MD) or a psychiatric nurse practitioner (NP-P), the codes we tend to bill include:

90792 for the initial consultation
99212 + 90836 for psychotherapy
99213 + 90833 for psychopharmacology and medication management
If your clinician is a psychologist (PhD or PsyD), a master’s level social worker (LMSW or LCSW), or a mental health counselor (LMHC), then the codes we tend to bill include:

90791 for the initial consultation
90832, 90834, or 90837 for psychotherapy
If you are seeing a provider for couples counseling, the code typically used is: 90847.

We will provide you with a monthly statement (electronically) at the beginning of every month that you will be able to submit directly to your insurance company for out of network reimbursement.
